Week 1 Events

We recommend Pre-School ages and below for our Storytime events. Elementary School aged youth may attend with their siblings.

We recommend ages 6-15 years for this program, however, all ages under 18 may attend.

We recommend youth ages 0-6 years for this program, however, all ages under 18 may attend.

We recommend youth ages 8-17 years for this program. You may register for either the 10AM class OR the 2PM Class, but please do not register for both. We will be making the same craft and would like to allow as many youth in our county as possible to participate.

Pack your lawn chairs and bug spray its an outdoor movie night at ECPL!
This form will hopefully allow us to account for ONE snack for each youth in attendance at this event!
Please do not leave your children unattended.
Week 3 Events
June 17th | 10AM - Adventures Around the World
This event is sponsored and planned by the EC KY Cooperative Extension Office and will offer cultural experiences with 6 different countries!
We recommend ages 8-17 years old for this event, however all under 18 may attend.
June 20th | 10AM - Adventures at Storytime!
We recommend Pre-School ages and below for our Storytime events. Elementary School aged youth may attend with their siblings.
June 20th | 5:30 PM - Adventures at Hogwarts!
We ask that only youth aged 8-17 years register for this program, due to the reading level and maturity level of the books as well as the activities during our program.
June 21st | 10AM - Dance Party!

This event is for Ages: 0-9 years.
You may register for either the 10AM Party OR the 2PM Party, but please do not register for both. We would like to allow as many youth in our county as possible to participate.

A County-Wide Scavenger Hunt!
How well do you know what your county has to offer? We hope everyone who participates in our Youth Summer Reading Scavenger Hunt will learn more about Edmonson County, and enjoy visiting some of the best we have to offer!
Pick up your Scavenger hunt sheet at the Library during YSR, beginning June 4th! Then be sure to stamp your book and take a photo at each stop!
Share your Adventures with us!
Snap a picture at your Scavenger Hunt stops then post and tag us: Edmonson County Public Library and Edmonson County Tourism!

Visit 10 Local Spots!
If you would like to be entered to win our Scavenger Hunt giveaway, participants must visit at least ten (10) of the local spots and return their sheet by July 31st!
KYDFW Sponsored Loaner Fishing Poles!
How do I borrow a Loaner Pole?
Step 1: Call ahead or stop by the library to see if we have any Loaner Poles available for checkout.
Step 2: Fill out the required paperwork (You must be over the age of 16 and have your KY Fishing License with you).
Step 3: Pick up your Loaner Poles and the Fishing Pole Return Check List!
Step 4: We ask that you return your Loaner Poles during Library operating hours, and within one week, two at most.
Library Hours:
M-F: 9AM-4:30PM & Sat: 9AM-1PM
Poles that are not returned by the end of their two week loan must be reported as unrecovered to the KYDFW.
